    You are eligible for premium-free Part A if you are age 65 or older and you or your spouse worked and paid Medicare taxes for at least 10 years.     If you dont have a Medicare account, you will need to make one. You will be able to use a debit card or credit card to pay any outstanding bills that you have, which will appear on your account.     Pay By Social Security/railroad Retirement Board Withholds

    A convenient way to pay your plan premium is to have automatic deductions from your monthly Social Security/RRB benefits check.

    To request this be set up, call the Customer Care number located on the back of your ID card or on your bill.

    If your request is approved, it may take up to two months or more for deductions to begin.

    If this request is not approved or the request is not approved for the effective date, you will be notified and sent a paper bill for your monthly premiums.

    You will need to continue to make monthly payments until the deductions begin.

    What Can You Pay Using Medicare Easy Pay

    Original Medicare Part B premiums are the most common premium paid using Medicare Easy Pay. If you qualify for Medicare under the RRB, youll need to mail your payment directly to them monthly. Any private insurance policy, such as Medicare Supplement Insurance or Medicare Advantage, usually has an autopay feature, but youll need to set it up directly with the insurance company you use.
