Reimbursement For Covered Services
Care is covered if it is medically required and is offered by the public system. One possible exception concerns fees for transporting biological samples, such as a blood sample.
People who have paid for services covered by the public plan have a year to apply to be reimbursed. They must have been covered by the public plan at the time care was received. The Demande de remboursement form must be used. The form, available through the attending physician, must be signed and mailed in.

Cards For Medicare Part C And Part D
Because Medicare Part C and Medicare Part D are offered through private insurance companies), you will receive a separate card from the insurer. This card will likely look different from the red, white, and blue Medicare card that is provided by Medicare to those who are enrolled in Original Medicare . The card that you receive for Medicare Part C and / or Part D will typically include the name of the private insurance carrier, as well as possibly additional information that indicates the plan type.
If you are enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan that also includes prescription drug coverage within the plan, it is possible that you will receive just one single card for all of your medical and prescription drug coverage needs. That way, you will only be required to present just one ID card to your doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, and other health care providers and suppliers.
In any case, it is important to keep your Medicare card in a safe place in order to reduce the risk of it becoming lost or stolen. This can also help in reducing the risk of identity theft.
